WRITING WONDERS REFUND POLICY
Thank you so much for your interest in our online writing classes!
Please make note that refunds can only be given if we are notified at least 7 days before the START of a class. Within 7 days of the start of a class, refunds can no longer be given. If you’re unable to attend the class and it is within 7 days of the start of a class, please consider reaching out to a friend and having their child take the class instead.
ABSENCES
Signing up for a single class or on-going classes is reserving a place for your child. It is a firm commitment for that class, and is the purchase of a teacher’s time, reserved exclusively for your child. That time slot remains committed to the student regardless if the student is present for the class or not.
If a child can’t attend a class, a video recording of the class will be sent to the parent within 24 hours of the class. The child will then have 6 days to view the lesson and is welcome to send pictures of any completed work that they do. We are ALWAYS happy to see students' work!
In order to keep our class sizes small, maintain healthy enrollment, guarantee committed teachers, and ensure quality teaching, we do not credit or make up absences. Parents will receive 2 automated reminders for each class each week.
If all of the students are absent for some reason, the teacher will email an assignment for them to complete in their own time.
Students who miss a writer’s workshop or creative writing class can add more to their content throughout the week, and send it to their teacher for review before the start of the next class.
If a teacher has to miss a class for any reason, that class will be made up, credited, or refunded.
